President and Founder of American Hero Adventures, Captain Troy R. Givens is from Eugene, OR. He was on his first tour of duty in Afghanistan leading a platoon--when his truck ran over an IED in December of 2010. 
     

With a B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon, Troy started American Hero Adventures to provide our nation's finest and their loved ones with adventures of a lifetime.
    

Chapter President Don Giottonini had the privilege of fishing with this crowd over the July 4th weekend in 2015. Their mission is to provide stress free and bonding activities to the combat wounded, duty-injured Hero, and their families. By providing wounded Heroes and their families the opportunity to experience these adventures together creates lasting memories that can be passed down through generations. There were two fishermen per boat and all caught a marlin plus a sail fish. Sacramento Safari Club is proud to be a donor for this foundation, and hope to strengthen our relationship for years to come.
