The Placer Sporting Club is an indoor shooting range that we have reserved for our SSC membership on the 29th of June. The facility closes at 5:00 pm, but we will begin our event at 4:00 pm. Due to the limitations of the facility, this will be a first- come- first served event. We can only handle forty (40) shooters for the evening, although we will be set up for sixty (60) people, assuming some shooters will bring their wives or husbands with them.

There will be snacks, soft drinks, water and pizza available for everyone. There are also a few other activities available such as a ping pong and a golf simulator. We will hold a shooting contest and a small raffle. We are also attempting to secure a guest speaker from the Red Bank Outdoor Academy to talk about their youth programs.

Shooters will be broken into two groups of twenty (20). The first group will need to arrive a few minutes before 4:00 pm for orientation and instruction. This group will be composed of those who have never shot a pistol before and those with limited experience; if there are less than twenty (20) shooters who fit this category more experienced shooter will need to fill in. While the first group is on the range the second group will participate in the classroom experience and then proceed to the range when the first group is finished.

The cost will be $60 for shooters and $25 for non- shooters. If you do not have a pistol or do not want to bring one, they can be rented for $5.00. Ammunition is for sale at the facility. All pistols must be enclosed within a case before entering the facility, no exceptions!
