HUNTERS SAFETY CLASSES

April 22 & 23 @ Montezuma fire station, birds landing CA

July 15th & 16th – Montezuma Fire Station, Birds Landing, CA August 26 & 27 Waterloo Gun and Bocci Club, Stockton CA – canceled. Don Giottonini will be at SCI National Board Meeting.

You need to sign up online. Go to the CA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife website. A requirement for online registration is obtaining a CDFW “GO ID”. Once you have a “GO ID” generated, you can then register for the class:

1. Go to https://www.wildlife.ca.gov/Hunter-Education/Classes

2. Choose “Traditional Classes”

3. Make sure you read all the directions.

New Customers

To obtain a GO ID:

1. Go to the Online License System. (For assistance with the Online License System, call (916) 928-2537, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday)

2. Enter date of birth and last name, and click "Next"

3. If the student is an adult it will prompt you to provide ID # (e.g., State ID/DMV, Passport). If the student is a youth follow the directions and use the Parent/Guardian’s ID.

4. No matching customers will be found, select Create New Customer Record

5. Fill in required fields and select Save

6. Your new GO ID will be visible in the Customer Profile Info

7. **Return to the Hunter Education Class Registration form and input your valid GO ID**
